Welcome! I'm Kimberly Moffit, a relationship and couples counsellor here in Toronto. I started KMA Therapy in 2008 so that clients like you can embark on your own individual therapeutic journey. Therapy is a place where we learn and grow, make new decisions, and get sometimes pushed out of our comfort zones.
Counselling can be enriching, fun, and sometimes even uncomfortable. We learn more about ourselves and the world around us - about our relationships, our bad habits, and what ultimately what is holding us back from living our best lives. My own personal practice focuses specifically on relationships - from finding love, to strengthening marriage, to dealing with trust issues, to working through parenting challenges. Most of our clinicians also work towards understanding clinical issues like stress, anxiety, and depression - and through this process we learn how we arrived in our current mindframe in the first place.
At KMA Therapy, we are a team of psychologists, psychotherapists, and counsellors who represent some of Toronto's leading experts in the relationship, mental health and psychology field.
We have two Toronto practices that are easily accessible by car and TTC: Yonge and Eglinton, Liberty Village, King West, and Yorkville (new) where we welcome a diverse range of clients into our practice.

In response to the COVID-19 crisis, we are pleased to be open, and continuing to offer our full range of sessions both in person and online. Maintaining positive mental health is important - the pandemic has affected each one of our relationships, careers, social satisfaction and emotional health differently. We are proud to remain fully staffed at this time with therapists standing by to serve you in person and online. Simply send us a registration form or book online.

Our office feels warm and cozy, and we will always offer you a warm cup of tea on your arrival. We believe that the heart of the successful therapy experience is the relationship you have with your practitioner. For this reason, we put care and effort into the 'fit' you have with your counselor, we want to ensure it's right for you! We look forward to meeting you!
Your experience always begins with a 30-minute intake session with one of our friendly intake therapists. Here, we will get to know each other a little better and we will ask you a lot of questions. From here, we determine who is the best fit in our practice to look after your individual needs and goals. I've always believed in the research showing that 'fit' is incredibly important in the therapy experience. I want you to be able to connect with your therapist in order to make the best progress possible. Some of our clients find that a few sessions are helpful, but the vast majority of our clients attend weekly sessions on a long-term basis.
